[growtree guidelines]

1. a source sound file is presented.

2. an initial order of collaborators is released by jz.*

3. process the source in some way. save as 24bit/44.1 wav file. you must use the most recent posting but can additionally use any previous posting from the currect project

4 . name contribution with the following convention: date_projectName_yourInitials.wav
i.e. 011507_projectName_AK.wav
**it is very important to name it with the file extension or the server won't
recognize the file

5 . upload it to project folder

6 . send email to next collaborator informing them of the name of the file you have
processed and cc all other's involved

7 . process and upload within 4 days of receiving the email.
**if you are working on the sound and need a little more time send an email to all collaborators to let them know. if no email is received and no sound is uploaded within 4 days, the next collaborator will take over. we all get busy...

8 . no process is too simple or unsophisticated (or complex for that matter). you could literally pan a mono sound left and send it on!

9. to end a project: a collaborator can put in a motion to conclude but only when it's his/her turn. the next collaborator in the cue can choose to second the motion thus ending the project or s/he can choose to continue working thus cancelling the motion.

* the initial order of collaborators is chosen using a random process
